LC Taller de Esculturas developed this sculptural group for Bioparque Ukumarí through bronze casting with a patina finish, carefully shaping every gesture and pose to faithfully represent the behavior of spectacled bears.

A monumental scene that translates the gestures, presence and behavior of spectacled bears into sculptural form.
The spectacled bears depict an encounter between a male and a female. The male, standing upright on a tree trunk, watches the female attentively while she remains in a natural, restful pose. Their postures were guided by specialists associated with the park.
Installed at Bioparque Ukumarí in Pereira, the sculptures recreate an encounter between two spectacled bears, integrating their figures into the landscape through a concrete tree trunk that supports the male.
